Metal plates sit over both front corners and small feet sit under the base. Those are the two places a small bag wears through first, and both are covered here. A gunmetal disc hangs from a short chain at the side, cut through with a wave. It is the only bright thing on the bag, which is why it works. Top handle for the hand, and a long strap that clips off at both ends when you would rather wear it across the body.
