Two materials, not one. The frame is a soft pebbled finish and the panel set into it is a fine cross-hatch weave. The roses are printed onto that weave rather than onto a smooth sheet, and that is what keeps them from reading like a sticker. It opens twice. Two zips run the full width and each has its own compartment, so cards and cash can live apart from a phone and a lipstick. That is the whole argument for a long wallet over a small purse.
