A soft pebbled grain runs across the whole body, pressed deep enough to hide a scuff rather than hold it. It is a PU finish, not leather, which is why it wipes clean with a damp cloth and why the whole bag weighs under half a kilo before you put anything in it. A flap sits over the middle in a deeper tan, the same tan as the rolled handles. A small rocking horse hangs at the side on a braided cord with wooden beads, and it is the first thing anyone comments on.
